The Itabashi Ward offers a subsidy of up to 100,000 yen for the purchase of a new air conditioner for households exempt from resident tax or receiving child support benefits. Applications must be submitted via the ward’s website and are due by December 28, 2026 (Reiwa 8). If the unit was purchased between April 1 and July 31, 2026, a post‑purchase application is also accepted.
