This notice outlines the school choice system for prospective new first graders entering Koto City elementary schools or the primary division of compulsory education schools in FY2027. Students may choose schools located within a 30-minute walk (approx. 2 km), and a public lottery will be held in mid-December if applications exceed capacity. To apply, the "School Choice Preference Form" enclosed in the guide (to be sent in mid-September) must be submitted by early November.
