When a Level 5 Heavy Rain Emergency Warning is issued, your life is in danger and normal evacuation may no longer be possible; do not move around aimlessly, but secure your safety by moving to a safer place. Avoid traveling by car in flooded areas and stay away from rivers and waterways. Be sure to evacuate by the time an Alert Level 4 Evacuation Instruction is issued, and check hazard maps and weather updates in advance.
